Jack is mirth certified and has core expertise into healthcare integrations. He has been in the IT industry for 20 years and having specialized Healthcare IT for over 10 years. He is gold member of HL7.org and has held over 30 IT certifications including CompTIA Healthcare IT, Network+, Security+, and EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker. He is one of the few technicians in the world who hold ‘Advanced’ versions of both Mirth Connect and Qvera QIE Interface Engine Certifications.
Jack started his career in Information Technology during the mid1990’s working in the internet service provider industry as a technical support technician. Quickly moving up to technical support supervisor, then into network and system administration, and eventually to Chief of Network Operations for WorldNet Communications. Jack left WorldNet to work as an IT consultant for Cyber Technology Group while also starting his own web hosting company. During a consulting job for a local clinical and pathology laboratory, Jack found a passion for healthcare interface development and went to work for the lab full-time. After several years of working for that lab and developing interfaces for other freelance clients, Jack decided to go out on his own and start Healthcare Integrations, LLC which creates interfaces, APIs, and web portals for hospitals, labs, and government agencies all over the world.
