Dean is the President and founder of SteppingStone Solutions, Inc, formed in 2000. He is a seasoned cybersecurity instructor and distinguished IT consultant with a career spanning back to 1989. Specializing in cybersecurity since 1996, he has amassed extensive expertise in systems administration, security engineering, and penetration testing. His professional journey includes pivotal roles at major government agencies, international financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, large domestic banks, and credit card companies.

With a commitment to knowledge dissemination, Dean has been instrumental in shaping the cybersecurity landscape by teaching approximately 750 individuals annually since 2011. His instructional prowess has taken him to numerous prominent cities across the United States and allowed him to share insights in 15 foreign countries. Dean's students, numbering in the hundreds each year, are typically preparing for certification exams, while others seek to absorb his wealth of knowledge.
